Montana... pretty big
So it turns out... Montana is a really big state. 3rd biggest actually. OUr last three days of riding have gone 111, 106, 91. Miles. Yes, miles. That's over 300 in the last 3 days. My legs are finally getting used to the grind and it's fun to see the landscape change. Today I must have crossed a black cat or something though. I put my jacket on this morning cause it was raining and the zipper busted. Then in the morning my bike felt a little weird and heavy, but I kept riding. After lunch (about 55 miles in) I noticed my rear wheel was out of true and rubbing my brakes. So that's why it seemed hard to pedal. Turns out I had snapped a spoke sometime in the morning and just kept riding. So after we rig the wheel to work right, I ride for another hour or so and get a flat. Oh well, we fixed it and got to town alright. We're in a town called Malta and it's pretty cool. When 15 bikers roll into a town of 500, the folks notice. The locals tend to be real nice and eager to talk, and the teenage boys immediately view us as a threat to their girls, which is hilarious. We're gonna be in the local town parade tonight too. No time for pictures, but you can click the link on the right to see a lot of pictures of the group and our adventures.

Hope all is well on the trail. Nothing happening here really. Went to Cindy's cabin and a lot of people came up(Kel,Cindy,Kendall,Brian,Levi,me,
Greg,Harold,Gerry,Tim,Joey, and Erin), so that was fun. We have been hitting the bars often and look forward to getting you fucked up after you get back.
The World Cup is mainly on my agenda and I watch it as often as possible. England is doing well but France and the US have been lackluster so far.
Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.
P.S. Your legs make me want to vomit.

Hey Chris. My Dad has been keeping up on your Blog. You will be passing through Rugby, No. Dakota which is 20 miles from Bisbee. That is where our whole family (the scandinavian side) from Norway ended up when they came to the states. My great-grandparents. Dad says No. Dakota is a long, lonely ride even in a car. Hang in there when the humidity strikes. On a positive note, you look great. love Liz
You're stats sound pretty impressive, i just have one question... What's your Bench DOWN to these days?! By the sounds of all this bike ridding you'll be the laughing stock of the next bench press circle. If i were you i'd take a few days off the biking and do some push ups or find a gym. Just a thought though...
